If rich nutrition, satisfying treats, and all-around deliciousness are high on your priority list,  it's time to celebrate the banana... or at least eat one. With a long list of boasting rights, each bite of banana floods the body with benefits. And with just 100 calories per banana (give or take a few), they satisfy hunger and then some. Ingredients

  • 4 firm bananas
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (heated)
  • 1-inch piece grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • ½ tablespoon nutmeg
  • ½ cup raisins

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Peel and cut bananas in half, lengthwise.
  3. Oil the baking pan and arrange bananas.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon, grated ginger, nutmeg, and raisins.
  5. Cover and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Enjoy!
