The Steady Reach
Hips & Glutes · Move 11 of 16

Why this one
Reaching opposite arm and leg builds deep core and back strength while keeping you off your back, steadiness for the whole body.
8–10 sets
Breath, Inhale to ground down · Exhale to reach and lengthen
How to do it
On hands and knees, extend the opposite arm and leg long and level, keeping your spine neutral and hips square. Hold a moment, then switch sides.
Keep in mind
Reach long in both directions; keep the belly gently supported and the back flat.
Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor, a gentle lift, never a clench, and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
